Michael maintains two regularly updated blogs, "My Life Within the Margins," chronicling his life as a freelance writer and "The Villa on the Hill-a," a humorous look at his adventures in suburbia.

In addition to his non-fiction efforts, Michael has written several short stories, essays, poems and screenplays. His first anthology of short stories and poetry, In The Foothills, was published in July 2008.
